RemotePRJobs.com delivers more than 120+ freelance, part-time, and full-time remote opportunities to PR Pros every month; expands offers to serve graduating college students with entry-level jobs and internships
LOS ANGELES—NOVEMBER 16, 2020—RemotePRJobs.com, a subscription-based job site for the remote Public Relations and Communications workforce that offers 120+ remote PR, Communications, Social Media, Content, and Copywriting jobs every month, recently reported a massive increase in job postings and 30% jump in membership since its inception in 2018. During COVID-19 specifically, the company has been able to provide job opportunities for PR professionals that have been furloughed, laid off, and/or decided to transition to primarily freelance work. The company also recently expanded into internship and entry-level opportunities for graduating seniors in partnership with higher ed institutions.
“RemotePRJobs.com was initially built to serve the remote, freelance PR community and help connect talented PR professionals with work, to keep their deal-flow going,” said Andrea Holland, Founder of RemotePRJobs.com. “With the growing membership numbers, we knew this was a niche that even in 2018, professionals gravitated to. When the COVID-19 pandemic started, remote jobs became table stakes and there was a huge increase in membership. We immediately started doubling down sourcing jobs and grew our team by 50% to provide as much opportunity and support as possible during this time.”
The service has now evolved into a full membership site that not only offers jobs, but also PR tools, templates, and tactical learning resources. To date, the company has sourced more than 4,000 remote jobs across PR, communications, government relations, internal communications, social media, and content.
“During a global health crisis like COVID-19, it’s especially meaningful to know that we’re helping thousands of businesses source their talent and providing countless, curated and legitimate opportunities to our members,” continued Holland.
In addition to serving the professional PR and Communications community, RemotePRJobs.com just recently announced its partnership program with higher education institutions to provide internships and entry-level opportunities to students and new grads. The announcement of the new product offering provides students with 10-15 entry-level and internship opportunities each week via a subscription through their university.
“As the world continues to go through digital transformation and adapt to business’s evolving needs, remote work will not only become the norm, but stay the norm,” said Holland. “By preparing students to work in a remote professional environment during their college years and shortly thereafter, we are ensuring a well-prepared future workforce.”
